Pickett State Forest OHV Area, also known as Black House Mountain, is a beautiful scenic riding area located just 6 miles from Laurel Fork Rustic Retreat.

Black House Mountain offers more than 100 miles of trails located in Tennessee and Kentucky. Black House Mountain offers uncommon rock formations, natural bridges, numerous caves, waterfalls, and a mineral lake. Check with the Pickett State Park office before heading out for a map and have a good Outdoors GPS unit to prevent getting lost. Due to the fact of this area is free to ride, there is not a huge selection of maps available.
